What is the purpose of the Lord’s Supper? Is it simply a church tradition, or is it something much deeper? The father in the parable of the prodigal son is more than a loving parent—he is a picture of the heart of God. When viewed through the customs and culture of first-century Judaism, the father’s actions become even more remarkable. Every step he took challenged cultural expectations and demonstrated grace, mercy, forgiveness, and restoration. In this final episode of Called, Cleansed, and Built, we center everything on Christ—the Living Stone. 1 Peter 2:4–10 reveals that our identity and purpose are inseparable from Him. Though rejected by the world, Jesus is chosen and precious to God—and those who come to Him are being built into something eternal. This passage reminds us that we are not random or insignificant. We are chosen, set apart, and positioned with purpose. As living stones, we are being built together into a spiritual house, called to declare His praises. This episode brings the series full circle: we were called, we were cleansed, and now we are being built for His glory.

What is your salvation really worth? In a world where everything seems to have a price tag, it’s easy to lose sight of the true cost of redemption. The apostle Peter reminds us that we weren’t bought with temporary, perishable things like silver or gold—but with something infinitely more valuable: the precious blood of Jesus Christ. While God chose Israel and gave them the law, salvation was never meant to be limited to one nation. Through Jesus Christ, God opened the door of righteousness to both Jew and Gentile. Mark 1:29-34, we see Jesus entering the house of Simon, and finding our his mother in law is sick in bed. Jesus heals her sickness, and immediately she serves them. Later, all the town brings those that are sick and demon possessed to Jesus for healing. It may be your prayer that brings healing to your loved one. Who do you need to pray for today?
