Voicemail Submission Terms

These Voicemail Submission Terms (“Terms”) govern any audio message (“Voicemail”) you record or upload through this website or its recording tools.

By recording or submitting a voicemail, you agree to these Terms.

1. Consent to Recording and Monitoring

You expressly consent to the recording, storage, reproduction, and use of your voice and any information you provide.

You acknowledge that you are voluntarily communicating with a system intended for recording and public distribution, and you waive any requirement for additional notice under applicable recording consent or wiretapping laws.

2. Grant of Rights (License)

You grant the podcast, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, successors, licensees, hosting providers, distribution platforms, and promotional partners a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free license to:

  • use
  • reproduce
  • edit
  • adapt
  • modify
  • translate
  • create derivative works from
  • publish
  • distribute
  • publicly perform
  • publicly display
  • monetize

your voicemail, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, including podcasts, video, advertising, social media, marketing, and artificial intelligence training or processing.

You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or its use.

3. Ownership

You retain ownership of your original content, but grant the above license permanently.

This license cannot be revoked after submission.

4. No Compensation

You understand and agree that:

  • You will not be paid
  • You are not entitled to royalties
  • You are not entitled to credit
  • Your submission may be used commercially

unless the podcast separately agrees in writing.

5. Representations and Warranties

You represent and warrant that:

  1. You are at least 18 years old or have legal parental/guardian consent
  2. You have the legal right to submit the recording
  3. The recording is your own voice or you have permission from all speakers
  4. The recording does not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  5. The recording does not contain confidential information
  6. The recording does not contain unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, harassing, hateful, or misleading content
  7. You will not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  8. You will not submit personal data of another person without consent

You are solely responsible for the content of your voicemail.

6. Sensitive Information

Do not include:

  • phone numbers
  • addresses
  • financial information
  • medical information
  • private conversations
  • information about minors
  • any information you would not want publicly available

Voicemails may be published publicly and permanently.

7. Editing and Moderation

The podcast may edit your voicemail for length, clarity, tone, or content.

The podcast has no obligation to use, respond to, or retain any voicemail.

8. Removal Requests

The podcast may, but is not obligated to, remove a voicemail upon request.

You acknowledge that once distributed (including RSS feeds, downloads, clips, backups, and third-party platforms), complete removal may not be possible.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the podcast, its owners, hosts, guests, employees, contractors, platform providers, and distribution partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • your voicemail
  • your breach of these Terms
  • violation of another person's rights

10. Platform Provider Role

If the voicemail feature is provided by a hosting or website platform:

The platform acts solely as a technical service provider and is not responsible for user submissions, podcast editorial decisions, or publication of content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the podcast and platform providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or emotional damages related to voicemail use or publication.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the podcast operator is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes

These Terms may be updated at any time. The version in effect at the time of submission applies to your voicemail.
