Episode 3 When Others Cannot Recognize the Change

When God changes your life, not everyone will recognize you—and not everyone will believe you.
In this episode, we continue the journey through John 9 and explore what happens after the miracle. The man who was blind can now see, but instead of celebration, he faces doubt, questioning, and confusion from those around him.
Through passages in Acts, the story of Thomas, and Jesus’ teaching on fruit, we uncover a powerful truth: transformation is undeniable, even when it’s questioned.
If God has done something in your life and others don’t understand it, this episode will remind you—you don’t need their validation to walk in your healing.
📝 Show Notes
🔍 1. A Changed Life Brings Questions (John 9:8-13)
The neighbors weren’t sure what they were seeing.
- “Is this the same man?”
- “He looks like him…”
When God moves, it can confuse people who only knew your past.
👉 The man didn’t argue theology—he simply declared: “I am he.”
⸻
🙏 2. Even Miracles Get Questioned (Acts 12:5, 11-16)
Peter is miraculously freed from prison…
…but when he shows up, believers don’t believe it’s him.
- They prayed for it
- God answered
- They doubted anyway
👉 Sometimes people struggle to believe what they’ve been praying for.
⸻
🤝 3. God Uses People in the Process (Acts 9:10-17)
Ananias had doubts about Saul.
- He knew Saul’s past
- He feared what Saul had done
But God said: “Go.”
👉 Don’t let someone’s history blind you to God’s work in their present.
⸻
👀 4. Some Need to See to Believe (John 20:24-29)
Thomas doubted until he saw Jesus.
Jesus didn’t reject him—but He did challenge him.
👉 Blessed are those who believe without seeing—but not everyone is there yet.
⸻
🌳 5. The Evidence is in the Fruit (Matthew 7:17-20)
Jesus made it simple:
- Good tree → good fruit
- Bad tree → bad fruit
👉 You don’t have to convince everyone—your life will testify for you.
