Promises Episodes

Matthew 5:33-37. Here, Jesus is teaching us to make no promises. God knows full well that most promises we make, we have absolutely no intention of keeping. That is why He teaches us that a simple Yes! Or No! Will be sufficient.

Deuteronomy 31:8. In these verses, Moses is giving Joshua promises to count on. These are promises that will never be broken, the very promises of God. And, I believe, are as relevant to us today as they were to Joshua.
