Mercy Episodes

Yesterday, we talked about keeping mercy and truth at the center of your life. Today, we are looking at a couple real life examples of men who did just that, and see how God worked in them. If you are in your darkest hour right now, it is not the time to abandon your faith. Instead, it’s time to keep focused on God, because He may be preparing you for something beyond your wildest dreams.

In Proverbs 3, the writer lists two things we must make sure is at the very center of our lives. In fact, he tells us not to let them forsake us, it’s that important. Is your life centered on these two things?

In this powerful episode, we look at one of the most compassionate and revealing encounters in the Gospels—Jesus and the woman caught in adultery. The religious leaders wanted to trap Jesus with a question of law and punishment, but He revealed the true heart of God: mercy that calls us to holiness. It is an active, selfless compassion that mirrors the heart of God.

Hebrews 4:14-16, these verses teach us that Jesus is our High Priest, who not only ascended to Heaven, but also understands our struggles. Because of His sacrifice, we can boldly come to God for help and comfort.
