You Have a New Identity
In 1 Peter 2:9–10, Peter gives us a powerful reminder of who we are because of what God has done for us\. He says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people\.” Those aren’t just encouraging words\. They describe our identity as God’s people\. We are chosen\. We belong to God\. We are called to be different\. And we have a purpose: “that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light\.” God didn’t bring us out of darkness simply so we could stand around and admire the light\. He brought us into the light so that our lives could point others toward Him\. Today, let’s take a closer look at what it means to be chosen by God, to belong to Him, and to live like people who have been called out of darkness.

Who Are You Serving
Before sin is ever dealt with, it must be acknowledged. In Part 1 of this two-part series, we confront the reality of sin—not just what we do, but what we allow to rule us. Through Romans 6 and 1 John, we uncover the truth about spiritual identity, obedience, and the danger of denial. You can’t walk in freedom while pretending nothing is wrong. This episode challenges us to stop hiding and start getting honest with God.

Living Stones Chosen People
In this final episode of Called, Cleansed, and Built, we center everything on Christ—the Living Stone. 1 Peter 2:4–10 reveals that our identity and purpose are inseparable from Him. Though rejected by the world, Jesus is chosen and precious to God—and those who come to Him are being built into something eternal. This passage reminds us that we are not random or insignificant. We are chosen, set apart, and positioned with purpose. As living stones, we are being built together into a spiritual house, called to declare His praises. This episode brings the series full circle: we were called, we were cleansed, and now we are being built for His glory.

Not My Righteousness
Righteousness is one of the most misunderstood truths in the Christian walk. Too often, we measure ourselves by our obedience, our discipline, or our progress—forgetting that none of those things ever made us right with God. In this episode, we confront the lie of self-righteousness and return to the liberating truth of Scripture: righteousness is not achieved, it is received. Drawing from both Old and New Testament passages, we explore how God has always opposed pride in human effort and how true righteousness is found only in Christ. This episode calls listeners to lay down spiritual boasting, embrace grace, and walk confidently in what Jesus has already accomplished.

Episode 2016 - Paul’s Identity in Christ
1 Corinthians 15:8-10. Paul knew who he was in the past, he knew who he was in Christ. He didn’t let his past failures keep him from doing what he was called to do. Many of us have failures in our past as well, but what are you doing with those...
